EMergy was appointed to conduct a targeted energy audit for the ventilation and air conditioning system of the ACICO Business Park in Al Khabaisi, Dubai. The audit was focused on the air-cooled chillers, air handling units, and fan coil units, along with the associated chilled water system and other components. The existing chillers and their control system were assessed. Energy efficiency measures were proposed, such as, the addition of motorized valves, enhancement of the chiller management system, replacement of control valves, and addition of variable frequency drives, along with their associated financial analysis, which resulted in an estimated energy savings potential of AED 270,000 annually.
