First Security Group LLC, founded in 2004, is a market leader in the security and risk services sector catering to a wide variety of clients, offering the best in class security products and services, and raising standards across the industry. EMergy was appointed to carry out an energy audit of the staff accommodation building in order to identity savings opportunities. The accommodation consists of several buildings, which are cooled by air-cooled chillers, air handling units, and fan coil units, along with the associated chilled water system and other components. The audit was performed to the domestic water supply system, ventilation and air conditioning system, and electrical lighting system. Several energy efficiency measures were proposed, along with their associated financial analysis, which resulted in an estimated energy and water savings potential of AED 2.5 million annually.
